Deepak (Jeetendra) drives a truck for a living. One day he meets Asha and gives her a lift and they become friends during the journey. Deepak likes Mala and takes Mala home to meet his mother and they soon get married. Mala has some eye problem and she eventually goes blind. Deepak meets with an accident and is believed dead. Deepak's mother blames Mala for this mifortune and removes her from the house. Mala gives birth to a girl and lives in a very miserable state. Deepak comes back. Asha comes back in Deepak's life and they both decide to get married since there is no news of Mala. Asha knows about Mala. Will she tell Deepak about her or not forms the rest of the story.
