While attending a concert by her favorite singer Ravi (Mithun Chakraborty), Bharti(Jaya Prada), a law student, is shocked to se him being arrested and led away bu the police. Her fiancee, Jailor Kirpal, informs her that Ravi, an accused in a case of murder, is awaiting the death sentence. Intent on finding the truth, Bharti meets Ravi’s fiancee, Kalpana (Padmini Kolhapure), who tells her how Ravi murdered Rana, brother of Thakur Gajendra Singh. When Ravi escapes from jail, abducts Bharti and marries her forcibly, the stage is set for some slam bang action and suspense.
