From time Unmemorial, Dhruv's devotion to god is well known. Among the hundreds of devotees, Dhruv's name shines like a star. Dhruv belonged to the era when emperor Uttanpad, Manu's son, was rulling India. The king was blessed with everything but a son and that was his greatest misery. On Rajguru's advice, Suniti, the Queen suggested to the king to remarry, However the king refused. Days passed by and one day the circumstances forced the king to marry Princess Surichi. Immediately after her marriage, cunning Surichi, forced Suniti to leave the palace and got to the jungles. There Suniti gave birth to Dhruv.
