Il y a une vingtaine d'années, suite a un accident de voiture mortel impliquant son mari et sa 2eme femme caché, Sarita promet d'élever la fille (Shalu) du femme caché de son mari  avec leur propre fille (Nimmi). Les filles grandissent comme les meilleures amies mais Sarita n'a jamais pu pardonner à Shalu son passé. Ça ne va pas mieux quand elle voit Shalu se rapprocher de l'homme dont Nimmi est également amoureux.

Some twenty years ago Sarita promised to raise her husband’s love child (Shalu) together with their own daughter (Nimmi). The girls grow up as the best of friends but Sarita has never been able to forgive Shalu her background. It doesn’t make it better when she sees Shalu getting close to the man Nimmi is also in love with.
