Geraftaar is a classic tale of a clash of the might of money versus the power of innocence. Kishen (Kamal Haasan ) and Karan Khanna ( Amitabh Bachan are two brothers separated at birth. Kishen is framed for murder of a girl by his girlfriend’s ( Poonam Dhillon) brother Ranjit (Ranjeet). Karan Khanna avenges the merciless killing of his friend and police officer Hussain (Rajnikant)by rich and powerful criminals. Both become criminals in the eyes of the law. Kishen is sentenced to death Karan is arrested by his beloved Geeta (Madhavi). Will truth prevail ? Will justice be done to Kishen ? Will they discover their relationship with each other? Geraftaar is a star studded action film and one of south Indian superstar Rajnikant’s few appearance in Hindi films. The film features the hit songs ‘‘Dhoop Mein Nikla’ and Aana Jaana’’.
